Structured Cabling Services has a wealth of experience thanks to many years working with our diverse customer base. See below what set’s us apart;

Client: Kimberley College, Bedfordshire

Project: We installed Cat 6A F/UTP cabling providing 10 Gigabit Ethernet support to the desk top. Each floor is equipped with a wiring centre with redundant fibre links to the central equipment room (CER), and within the CER, six equipment racks will house local servers. In addition, Wireless Access Points provide full wireless coverage of the building to support the continuing growth in wireless networks.

Background: Kimberley College in Stewartby, Bedfordshire is part of the Wootton Academy Trust and specialises in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) for 16-19 year olds. It wanted to update its internal wiring systems in order to further support pupils in their studies.

Project: Install 10G cabling solution for new head office.

Quotation: Flexibility and future proofing where of paramount importance to us in selecting our cabling partner. We looked for a vendor that offered a quality solution designed to address our internal needs as well as our client base. It was also important that the restrictions imposed by the building itself could be overcome.

“Structured Cabling Services demonstrated a unique approach, delivering a solution expertly designed, on time and within our budget. We now have a 10G cabling infrastructure and server room that will continue to enhance our business for years to come”.
John Line, Managing Director

Client: Bosch

Project: Installing a Siemon category 7 Tera solution at Bosch’s new multi-million pound, 2,000 square metre training centre in Uxbridge

Background: Pair sharing technology provided by the Tera solution allowed Bosch to deploy multiple data connections to network devices through a single tera outlet. This means we were able to install fewer outlets yet still provide the flexibility required within the training rooms to accommodate changing desk layouts. Network speeds of 10Gb/s and beyond are supported by the solution, allowing Bosch to deploy higher network speeds when required.

Quotation: “The new training centre will not only provide vehicle technicians with new skills, increasing their knowledge, capabilities and employability, but is also good news for the local economy and the UK automotive sector.”
Robin Shaw, divisional director of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket
